Our Contemplative Prayer group meets from 5:30 - 6:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. We begin with a time of fellowship and basic instruction in Christian meditation (as needed). The formal prayer time begins around 5:45 pm, so please arrive prior to that time, or enter quietly. We draw our inspiration from the Quaker tradition, but also incorporate practices and insights from the non-denominational Centering Prayer movement (www.centeringprayer.com).
